LAKEVILLE - Donald Kemp Ross, 78, of Lakeville, CT died on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Noble Horizons after several weeks in hospitals to diagnose a rare form of lymphoma. He was an active member of the Salisbury community since 2012, when he and his wife Helen Klein Ross bought and restored an old governor’s mansion on Millerton Road.

On Friday April 1, 2022 Betty Jean Lee, age 70 of Pearl River, LA went peacefully to be with our Lord surrounded by her loving family. She was a woman who loved hunting, fishing, and visiting different flea markets in her spare time. Mrs. Betty is survived by her faithful husband Marvin Lee, her son Craig Allen Lee , her siblings; Eddie McQueen, Susie Scott, Donna Glass, and Patty McGeehee, 4 grandchildren Colby, Autumn, Ryan, and James, great grandchildren Melody, Jett, and Harper and her grandpup Dixie.

Don is survived by his son Erik Kenniston of Norwich, CT, his brother Edward and sister-in-law Geralyn Kenniston of Cornwall. Two nieces Jennifer Larson and Janna Kenniston of Austin Texas, two great nephews Donovan and Noah McCray of Cornwall and a great Niece Sophie Kenniston Rice of Austin Texas.
At one point, she could be found on the back of his motorcycle or riding in his boat on the Pearl River. She was a fierce and thoughtful friend which endeared her to many and cultivated long lasting friendships. She loved her son in law, Robert Mercadel, and bonded over travel and shopping. On Tuesday February 2, 2021 Phillip Eric Bennett, age 45 of Pearl River, LA passed away due to a car accident.

On Monday February 22, 2021 Mark Wayne Mitchell, age 64 of Pearl River, LA passed away peacefully in his sleep. Mark was an avid writer of Religious writings and had a website in which he published many thoughtful and devoted writings. He had a great love for his family and for God. Mr. Mitchell is preceded in death by his father Robert Mitchell, and his son Mitch Mitchell. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clarence Olen “Johnny” Little, children, Linda Tranum, Martha Ingram and Michael Little, siblings, Ruth Nell Collins, Billy Shaw and Edna King and three grandchildren. Dianna Lynn Christinat, 65, of Colebrook, Connecticut, passed away on March 20, 2020 in the comfort of her home. She was the loving wife of Stephen Christinat for 43 years. The daughter of Eugene and Alberta Giannini, Dianna was born January 13, 1955 in Charleroi, Pennsylvania. She relocated to Norfolk and was married to Stephen Christinat on September 11, 1976. She worked in insurance and real estate; and was known to be dedicated and extremely hard working.

He was an avid reader of biographies and Victorian literature, player of tennis and the Financial Times crossword, and was fond of long walks in the city. George is remembered by his family and friends as a person who demanded little and gave much, especially in his dry sense of humor. He is survived by Joan Williams Farr, his wife of more than 50 years, son Gregory, daughters Elizabeth and Lucy, and seven grandchildren. Raised in Garden City, N.Y., he was the son of the late James Thornton Metz and Eleanor Bechtoldt Metz.

She was predeceased by brothers John, Randy, Billy and Donald Wilson and daughter Christine Sager. Anne is survived by her brother, John Garrels, her sister, Molly Brendel and her step daughters, Rebecca Lawrence and Gabriella Strand.
He was a competitive runner, enjoyed gardening and stewardship of conservation lands, was self-reliant, and designed and helped build the house he and his family lived in. He was a scholar of early New England history, publishing several academic articles and then a biography of Mary Dyer, the Quaker martyr, who was hanged in 1660 for civil disobedience. He felt strongly about fairness and justice, had a sharp eye and ear for nonsense, and enjoyed challenging convention. A Greenwich, CT native, Lil was a 1942 graduate of Greenwich High School. During WWII she made airplane parts at the Old Greenwich Electrolux factory, moved on to accounting positions and later had a successful career in real estate.

Whitfield Miles, Jr., infant son, Mark Bell Miles, grandson, Garrett Miles, brothers, William “Bill” Miles, Harold “Speedy” Miles and a sister, Martha Frances Riley Fuller. Funeral services are planned for Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 3 p.m. From the McGraw Memorial Chapel of Miles Funeral Home with burial to follow in New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Marlon Mayfield will be the officiating minister. Mrs. Duff was preceded in death by her husbands, James Dozier and Denver Duff son, Roger Judson Heath, her parents, a sister, and three brothers.
On the evening of Saturday, November 20, 2021, Ed Baker passed, surrounded by love from friends and family, at St Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT. Phyllis devoted her life to parenting and supporting her husband in his insurance business. The couple owned their first home in Winsted, CT. She worked for a brief time at Dr. Raymond Church veterinary services, solidifying a longstanding love of animals.
Jackie is survived by her children Kyle E Herkender and Ginger Herkender, her brothers Jimmy Rosser and Ricky Rosser, Sr., her grandchildren Kyle W. Herkender, Ryan Herkender, and Liam Herkender, and a host of friends especially Kristy and William Whitehead. She is preceded in death by her parents Vera and Wallace Rosser, Sr., three brothers and one sister. Memorial Services to be held at a later date. She is preceded in death by her parents Shirley and Jules Champagne II., and her brother Jules Champagne III.
